Call for Paper Vol 4, No 1 & 2 , Year 2026
We are pleased to invite researchers, scholars, and practitioners to submit their original and high-quality manuscripts to Jurnal Siyasah Wa Qanuniyah for Volume 4, No. 1 and No. 2, to be published in 2026. As a peer-reviewed journal focusing on Islamic political and legal studies, our journal serves as a platform for critical discourse, theoretical analysis, and practical insights rooted in Islamic jurisprudence and political philosophy.
Scope of the JournalSubmissions are welcome on topics including, but not limited to:
- Islamic Political Science: Studies on political systems and governance models based on Islamic principles, including historical and contemporary roles of Islamic politics in state and society.
- Development of Islamic Politics: Exploration of the evolution of Islamic political ideologies and their interaction with modern political realities.
- Islamic Political Theory: Theoretical analysis derived from Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh), including comparative studies with Western or other political theories.
- Islamic Political Philosophy: Philosophical and ethical foundations of Islamic political thought, focusing on leadership, justice, and moral governance.
- Practical Politics Based on Sharia: Applications of Sharia in governance and public policy, supported by case studies and models of Islamic political implementation.
Our journal encourages interdisciplinary approaches that combine classical Islamic knowledge (turāth), principles of Usul al-Fiqh, and analysis of contemporary socio-political challenges.

- Notification of Acceptance: Within 4–6 weeks after submission
- Publication Dates:
- Vol 4. No 1: June 2026
- Vol 4. No 2: December 2026
- Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.
- Articles may be written in English or Indonesian, but all articles submitted in Indonesian must be translated back into English by the author after acceptance.
- Manuscripts must follow the journal’s submission template and formatting guidelines.
- The average length of articles is 5,000–8,000 words, including references and appendices.
